Very nice local pub in a lovely village. The two guys that run it made us very welcome and were good company. Good choice of beer and bar snacks. We will definitely return and try the pub grub offered on a nice traditional menu with very reasonable prices. Restrictions and distancing was strictly enforced through polite reminders and instructions.

The pub is traditionally themed, in a nice village. They have a good selection of drinks. The food is nice, and a good portion size. How ever, the service was mixed. At times it felt like we had been forgotten. The place was certainly not busy. The first waitress did a good job, but after the bar staff seemed to take over. Annoyingly we had to sets of music competing , one from the kitchen playing modern stuff and the restaurant's older play list.
First time I'd ever been there but a friendly welcome. Good Covid precautions in place. Being national fish and chips day, I had that and WOW it was more like a whale!! V large portion at a v reasonable price.
Had a lovely Lasagne takeaway, the nicest one I’ve had out, lots of lovely chips, salad and garlic bread, thanks Dean &Paul. We will definitely be ordering this again
Compact local in attractive village setting. It is now the only pub for several miles around. Good selection of real beer. Car park and a little outside seating. Meals available.
