Went here for Sunday lunch the other day, and as always perfect, best Sunday lunch in North Yorkshire, was excellent service and the food is awesome, we used to go regularly, but hadn't been for a while, and forgotten how nice it was. Staff are always helpful and friendly with a good selection of real ales and beer. We can't wait for it to reopen after shut down.
Sunday. 6pm. Not too busy. The Sunday lunch madness is over. Quick, pleasant service with a smile. Tasty, well presented food arrived in a very reasonable time frame. The chicken strips (starter) are huge! The pork and black pudding stack (main) is truly amazing. Definitely compliments to the chef! Couldn't manage a sticky toffee pudding after that lot, sadly...
A lovely warm welcome, tables well spaced out and plenty of room. Food delicious and potions big, boxed up leftovers to bring home staff friendly and professional, made our meal out very enjoyable and will definitely be returning
