Came for lunch with friends a week ago. We had booked but were able to sit wherever we chose, which happened to be outside with the amazing views of the rolling hills. Table service only at the moment, but this was friendly and attentive. The food was fabulous too. Definitely recommend the pies. The only niggle was after they brought the bill nobody came to take payment. We waited a while but in the end just went inside to pay. Not a major issue, but we were on our way to meet people. Would definitely be back if I was in the area!

Great outdoor views and great quality food. Service was excellent. Have a small selection of cask ales some of which weren’t bad. Dessert was particularly scrummy. Small parking lot situated next to it. Would recommend for Sunday roasts.
Lovely cozy warm pub with nice staff. Unfortunately the food let the place down quite a bit. Chicken pot pie was horible and caused distressing digestive problems. The Beef pot pie was full of beery gristle. Both pots had tastless sauces. The shrimp appetizer tasted of old leather rather than fresh shrimp. I won't be going back again.
Wonderful pub really tasty food, nice staff and atmosphere with a stunning garden view.
Great pub.. Lovely location and friendly efficient staff. I now class this as my local and one of my favourite pubs.
