The staff were warm & welcoming and the food was good, if a little overpriced. But I've dropped one star because although when we arrived the occupancy of the tables were spaced well apart part way though our meal a couple were seated at the table alongside ours, which was barely 3 ft away from me, which made me feel very uncomfortable . . .

Brilliant place, very covid aware. Table service and social distancing with mask enforcement. Lovely atmosphere for the quiz look forward to being able to try the food!
The food the atmosphere and the staff were fantastic. It was so nice to enjoy some much needed family time out in a homely pub that made us all feel so welcome.
Super nice lunch from the hake special to ham and eggs. Also I recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding, large but light. Yummy.
The new management that took over try their very hardest. Very friendly, clean, the service is excellent, approachable staff. Appetising seasonal lunch and a decent glass of red wine in a quirky English pub. What more could you ask for?!
