Great pub. Not busy today as expected but food was excellent and background Xmas soundtrack provided great atmosphere. Great service. One way system. Everything one could want in 2020 and anytime actually. Lovely garden area in summer. Recommended

Great food!! Staff were wonderful. Really busy for a Saturday lunchtime... recommend booking a table. Lovely ambience, real wood fire. Can't fault a thing!
Came for my partners birthday celebrations with family, so glad Ray and Elaine invited us cos I have to say I ate the Moules Mariniere and my tastebuds exploded! The flavours of the sauce were outstanding and the quality of the mussels were amazing. The best I’ve had. All the other meals were also top quality. My partners rump steak was cooked to perfection and tender and so tasty, even the chips were fluffy and crunchy. The service was also wonderful the ladies were attentive and very friendly. Already looking forward to our next meal.
Attentive service, very good menu (including 2 vegetarian options) and, judging by the number of people dining mid-week, very popular, so booking is definitely recommended. Food quality and presentation was of a high standard. This was our first visit, we will certainly be returning.
Recently had s lovely meal in the restaurant where the staff were friendly attentive and demonstrated great control and knowledge of the social distancing rules. Great food and drink with a warm and relaxing atmosphere - thoroughly recommend it!
