Woke up the other morning in need of a bacon butty from the one and only “black cat tearoom”. On arrival I instantly felt safe with the environment and things they have put into place for social distancing. Even with a queue I received my freshly cooked bacon butty faster then anywhere else I have been to. Staff very friendly, washing hands several times and having a lovely conversation whilst I waited (of course socially distanced) will definitely be back again and can’t wait till I can sit in and enjoy a much needed afternoon tea catchup with the girls

Visited for breakfast and lunch in the same day so must be good. Food was fresh and tasty, service is excellent.
A warm welcome awaits you at the Black Cat! Fabulous customer service and an amazing range of top quality beverages and wonderful hot and cold food. The cakes are to die for, especially my personal favourite the coffee cake. On my last outing, I was lucky enough to sample the Afternoon Tea which was amazing! Highly recommended!!
this place is the best in Hessle, always brilliant service and clean , staff always helpful and efficient, never had a bad purchase from there and i always recommend to everyone cannot wait to be back sat inside as soon as we can, the black cat has done amazing in these times to adjust to takeaway only and it's great to see the locals support them.
Lovely coffee and great value full English breakfast. Perfect!
