Lovely Pub excellent food and service. Great staff. A little gem in Weeley mondays and tuesdays pub is reserved for small gatherings and family ger togethers afrer a cremation (local crematorium). Otherwise it would be a crime not to pop in for a pint.

Visited the Black Boy in 2018, as our usual restaurant has cooker issues. It was my daughters Birthday and she wanted to go to a restaurant no matter what. Quite late into evening to order from menu but staff were very nice and was made to feel very comfortable. Food came and was very tasty, but bit pricey for our budget, but I would recommend to visit otherwise. Nice seating area outside if passing by.

Three of us just had Sunday lunch at the Black Boy. It was the best Sunday lunch we’ve had for a long time. Plenty of meat, thick cut and tasty with perfectly cooked veg. Good service and good virus discipline.

I used the Black Boy for a small wake after a funeral at Weeley Crematorium during the coronavirus crisis. The staff were very helpful and friendly in helping me with the booking, which I made only the day before due to uncertainty over the coronavirus restrictions. I asked for afternoon tea for 11 people. The food provided was excellent, plentiful and enjoyed by everyone. My wife who does not usually like sandwiches loved the sandwiches provided on this occasion, and other guests loved the cakes. It was also excellent value. The staff were well prepared, quick and helpful and made everything easy. I would thoroughly recommend afternoon tea at The Black Boy on whatever occasion..

Went to the black boy pub for a 40th wedding annerversary of mum and dads. What a lovely meal I had the meat was proper top beef and it must be the best ever burger I have ever had, i have bee. To many pubs and had meals and this is the best I've had. Would recommend to anyone. Also reasonable for cost of food the only thing I can say is the drinks are a little pricey. Very clean and nice inside and also very quick service.
