Just been in for Sunday Lunch. Staff were well presented and polite. We had to book due to Covid restrictions, so the pub wasn't overly busy. A small but nice menu plus specials board, I had Pork Sunday Roast and the misses had Veggie Lasagne. Huge portions, the food was hot and tasty. Thoroughly recommend!

Called in today for a late lunch early tea. The food was delicious hot and plentiful. I decided not to have a starter and was very pleased with my decision as I don't think I'd have been able to eat all of my main if I had. The rest of the family did and they were lovely. The mains were equally as good. None of us could manage a dessert!! The staff were lovely, polite and very attentive. I would highly recommend a visit here. I would definitely advise to book if going at peak times. Well definitely be back for sure

Just enjoyed a couple of days away in Cockermouth. Really great food and a good selection of drinks in a lovely dog friendly pub. Plus really friendly staff! We visited this twice for our tea. Thank you!
Superb food, walking around Cockermouth and wanted somewhere for a drink and some pub food, found this pub and what a treat. All meals were delicious and a nice selection of bitters and drinks. Would definitely recommend the Bitter End double burger, very tasty!
