Underwhelming and expensive are the words I would use to describe our experience at The Biscuit House. In my reviews of a place I like to start out with the pros. Pros for The Biscuit House: the environment is clean and well decorated fitted with a farmhouse theme. We were sat in a timely manner. If you order coffee, you get the whole carrafe at your table. Cons: sub-par taste of food. we ordered a breakfast burrito and a scramble. The filling of the breakfast burrito and scramble was fair. The tortilla had a stale taste. The beans that came on the side had a bite to them and not in a spicy way. We were unable to substitute a side dish for another item on the menu. The country potatoes were very oily and not crisp. The kids menu is drastically overpriced for the small portions, they are the same price as an adult entree. No crayons for the kids either. For our family of three we spent around 50 for breakfast and there are other places in the valley that are a better price point and have better food. The price of food should reflect the quality of the food. And for this price, I would expect a higher quality of food. This is a diner with fine dining prices. For the kids meal it was 3 per item. For perspective, that is 3 for one egg, 3 for one link of sausage, and 3 for one biscuit. For these reasons, we will not be visiting The Biscuit House again nor can we recommend it to anyone.

Always wanted to eat here so we stopped this morning for breakfast. I had the country fried steak and gravy with 2 eggs, hash browns and a biscuit. EVERYTHING tastes homemade from scratch, perfectly cooked and delicious. The portion sizes for the money you pay is a tremendous value (think Cheesecake Factory). My wife couldn't even finish all of her meal. We ate around 10:30, it's now 4:12 am I'm STILL not hungry! I highly recommend this little gem in Gilbert!!
First time customers; service on a Saturday around 9am was fast!! We quickly were seated, ordered drinks. The atmosphere was comfortable and family friendly. When drinks arrived, the OJ looked & tasted freshly squeezed and the chocolate milk was delicious. We were recommended the biscuit special with bacon. It did not disappoint!! The food was A! The bacon was crispy and everything was flavorful. We also ordered the champion pancake..oh my gosh!!! Talk about a new favorite!! I highly recommend both dishes!! The waitress was very kind and checked on us just enough to not feel bothered or ignored. We will be back and absolutely tell our friend and family!! Additionally huge thank you for offering a 10% military discount! :)
Always have a great time here. Staff is super friendly, service is quick and they wipe everything down (even the salt and pepper shakers ) after you leave to be ready for the next customer. I go for the pancakes for brunch, but the other stuff looks good as well as the plates pass my booth. Perhaps one of these days I will try something different.
What a great restaurant. The first thing you notice when you walk in the door is the clean smell. Very pleasant. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, bacon and scrambled eggs. Everything is awesome. Best bacon I've had in a restaurant ever I think. normally you'll get biscuits that are too dry, not here. They were perfect the gravy is awesome. The scrambled eggs, they're just scrambled eggs. Awesome service. It was less than 3 minutes from order to getting my food. Wish I could give it six or seven stars. Thanks Julie for the great service!
