A great place for a relaxed informal meal. Huge choice of pizza and pasta dishes, but not much else so beware if that's not your thing. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. Heartily recommend.

We have visited The Birdcage many times, and never have we had a bad meal. I've visited with the girls for a girls' night out, I've visited with my husband for date night, with the children for a family meal out, and even with a large group (where we got the entire basement floor to ourselves). Very child friendly, but definitely nice enough to go just adults, and it's perfect for anything from a weekday \can't be bothered to cook\ dinner to slightly more casual celebration dinners.
Great decor and ambience. The food is amazing. Pizzas are wonderful. Oh, and the desserts are to die for! Friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended.
Great pizzas and very friendly staff. They also used to do the best cooked breakfast in the area, shame they have stopped this.
