Recently fully refurbished and looks great inside. Had a lovely pre Christmas meal. Food was very good (steaks were superb) staff friendly and attentive and good value for money.

Wonderful food! And a lovely atmosphere too. Excellent draft real ale and it was all so well priced. Perfect for our WI Annual Dinner, thank you so much to all the staff who served us tonight.
We booked a very late table for dinner after Chester races. There were 16 of us. The staff were amazing setting out a large table for us to sit at. The food was lovely - and all came out at the same time. Given this was a very last minute reservation I think they did brilliantly. We will definitely be back - with more notice this time though!!!
This pub was recommended to me. The best pub in the village! (she said). Can't say that I was disappointed at all. Good cider choices, too. Will come again
