Lovely lunch great staff...

Lovely new manager. We picked a busy night and had to wait a while for our food, but it was delicious when it did arrive. I even got my dessert to go! We had our 3 dogs with us too and they got extra special treatment!
Just had a lovely meal here for my daughters 14th birthday. Very friendly and accommodating staff, who made a huge effort to make us feel welcome and made a lovely fuss of my daughter. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I shall certainly be coming back soon and highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting.
We came on bank holiday monday we did not have a table booked. We really enjoyed we were looked after from the moment we arrived. Was nice to see the pub had really taken upon themselves to make sure guests were safe by going over and above the covid guidelines. It was really busy but social distancing was maintained. Outside the pub was busy and looked amazing. The inside was welcoming with a great choice of beers and largers on tap. Now.lets talk about the staff and food. I could see the manager delegating duties to his team who clearly had respect for him. All staff were smiling and getting on with thier jobs despite how busy it was. The young boy on the bar was being shown coffee by the manager who took time to train during a busy shift wow amazing work. Now the food. We had a great selection of pub meals and the special board which was clearly fresh meals we went for the beef medallions and salmon. The beef medallions was the nicest meal I have ever tasted in a pub and my partner salmon was so fresh clearly shown this pub takes pride in what dishes they produce. If i got mark it more than 10 out of 10 i would. We will return and we will be sharing our experiences with people close to us. Great work .
