Staff were friendly and helpful, and its obvious that they are taking lots of precautions under the current circumstances (including an interesting system for using the loos) so we all felt very comfortable enjoying our drinks and food. Menu options are limited at the moment but delicious. For some reason they weren't serving dessert on Sundays but there was a coffee and ice cream van on the other side that helped round things off. The main downside was that although we had booked a table, we still had to order our food as a takeaway and it was served in a single use container with plastic cutlery - they did warn us on the phone about the cutlery and invited us to bring our own but we forgot.

Quaint old pub in very picturesque village. Beautiful room with great character and views. Bathroom very tastefully renovated and top quality Food is imaginative, very tasty and reasonably priced. Staff ade friendly and efficient. Having experienced the whole ambience in glorious Summer, can't wait to go again around Christmas time.
Great food and observing all covid safety regs. Only seating outside which is preferable for me. Great, friendly staff.
