Our first visit. Couldn't fault the place. Really good and friendly service and very accommodating. Two of us had duck breast served with dauphinoise potatoes and broccoli which was excellently cooked. My wife had sea bass which she said was one of the best she's had. The vegetarian platter was also good. It's definitely a place to return to

Had a lovely meal, first time out this year and just before lockdown. The soup in the bread roll was such a surprise but was delicious. Hopefully we can return soon after all the chaos of 2020.
Top notch, worthy of 5 stars. As soon as you walk in the pub has a really quality feel to it, a great attention to detail. Menu has an excellent range of refreshingly different but reasonably priced dishes. We had the scallops to start and the fish of the day (sword fish) and steak mains. Everything was perfectly cooked and really well presented. Service was also 1st class, attentive, but not overly so. We will be back.
Sunday roast was superb. Excellent choice and well prepared. All staff were really attentive. Fair pricing . Would certainly recommend. Covid practices were clearly laid out and maintained. Many thanks
An excellent gastropub with a wide range of well presented reasonably priced food in quite large portions. They are Covid safe and very careful about hygiene. The wine list is quite varied and there are some good choices at the cheaper end. Worth a trip and better to book in advance.
