FANTASTIC SERVICE ALL ROUND!. From the wide range of beds and mattresses, prices and customer service. This is the 2nd time we've bought from Alfreton Bed Shop. Delivery was safe, efficient and with good cheer, despite the access challenges. SO MUCH BETTER than buying off the internet...a local shop that deserves to be used before we lose such shops off the high street. CAN'T RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH!

An astonishing number of makes and models to choose from and prices are very very competitive, in fact far lower than in the larger bed stores. Staff are very knowledgeable and couldn’t have been more helpful. The bed was delivered within the time frame given, bed erected and packaging removed. This is the sixth bed we have had from this friendly locally owned bed shop. Would highly recommend. Thank you for your attention to detail.

I wanted a folding camp bed and last Friday the gentleman in the shop was very helpful in aiding me choose the right one. He even loaded it in my car for me. However, over the weekend a friend of mine offered me one for free. I had not even got round to taking it out of my car when I phoned this shop on Monday to see if I could get a refund. I was told there was no way I could have a refund only a credit note. So I asked if the item would be resold even though I would only be given a credit note, and I was informed that it would be. Now I can understand that I wouldn’t be given a refund if they could not resell the item, but as they were going to....... I was told that they didn’t give refunds as it would go against their business. They said they had a no refund policy, which is stated on the back of the receipt which of course you don’t know is there until something happens. I was not told verbally that there was a no refund policy. If it was for hygiene reasons I could understand but it seems that is not the case. This is very poor customer service. The bed wasn’t taken out of my car and is still under the wrapper that they put over it. I can not recommend this shop

This is a great local shop with friendly, kind staff who know their stuff. We were made to feel very welcome and decided to buy a bed for our young daughter who has had a prolonged period of illness. They weren’t pushy but helped us get to the right solution. Why use a chain when we have this gem on our doorstep? Highly recommended.
