I do recall seeing one member of your kitchen team from early last year a female chef which l did some business with a few years earlier a very nasty piece of work l may add then again with that lazy eye and a boat race like that not totell surprise but of course with these new groverment new lockdown rules coming in at the moment it may allow the lady some time to sit down and maybe work on her English a bit more over the next six weeks. before returning to any kitchen department in the very near future ️ You know what l mean mate

Iconic pub with some good outdoor seating and a cosy inside. Be ready to donate a snippet of your tie if your wearing one The staff were friendly and accommodating, helping us find our table and use the online menu. We had a light lunch here, and the food was piping hot and very tasty, would recommend a visit.
Loved the heated outdoor seating. Also undercover Food was okay but overpriced for what it was. Glad to find some place open. But won't be returning. Didn't feel it was special or value for money
This is our most favourite pub in Oxford. The staff are amazing and so lovely. Food is lovely. It's nice to come to the same pub 3 months after our last visit and see the same lovely people working here.
I guess it depends what your want and when you want it. The Best is there oldest pub in Oxford, and it shows. It's small with a very low ceiling. Several taller people were drinking their points with their heads tipped to one side. The atmosphere is good but gets very cramped very quickly, especially on weekend evenings. That said, it's very friendly with a good bet selection - and if you're a tourist you kinda have to go there to say you've been to Oxford's oldest pub!
