Good position in Newark market Square. Food ok. Simple menu with no healthy options for breakfast. Staff cleaning could be better as no staff wearing face masks and cleaning the tables was just done with a cloth and no sanitising spray. Multiple tables cleaned with the same cloth and not single use.

Had a lovely meal and a coffee as part of the Governments Eat Out to Help Out Scheme. When paying I was informed my bill was 3.95 so I paid with my card. My card had actually been charged 6.20. I returned to the venue today where I was informed that they only give the discount on food. The scheme says eat in food and non alcoholic drinks are eligible. Why the Bean & Vine don't give the drinks discount is beyond me as they can claim the money back anyway. The difference was refunded to me in cash and I left with a bad taste in my mouth now about this place and I will never return.
I visited here for a coffee and a snack, ended up with a coffee and a Yorkshire Wrap. Sunday roast in a Yorkshire pudding. Delicious! A decent size as well. Excellent service and brought out very quickly. A super place for a lunchtime bite.
New staff are doing a great job, lovely friendly service, and the chicken schnitzel was lovey and very reasonable price for market square.
Dog friendly cafe! I went in with my dog and i was so surprised to find out that they give FREE dog biscuits. All of the staff were polite and kind and made your day so much better. Everything is served with a smile and i love that i can take my dog inside if its raining. Also great for them to have a little treat. Definitely the best coffee in Newark!
