A FAB facility after a brisk walk. A lovely, clean friendly cafe with just wonderful views - no matter what the weather. A great little theatre as well. Take a look at the 1800C Customs House - well worth a visit.

Very nice soup and sandwich, although a little bit pricey. Very pleasant staff. The location and views at the Beacon are some of the best in Inverclyde.

We went to a Scottish Opera show at the Beacon and found the venue to be pleasant with comfortable seats in the auditorium. The bar area is attractive with views over the river. Strangely they didn't have lemonade or ginger ale to go with a whisky that I ordered. I was offered ginger beer or 7UP instead. The bar prices are high.
