Great family pub, clean with good covid precautions in place. Great food - fish and chips, curry, Jacket potato etc served in cardboard boxes that was fun and the kids loved it. We came twice while on holiday in the area and would really recommend.

Good, all round performance. Like Weatherspoons, except the food comes in disposable boxes, smaller portions and smaller prices. Some nice dishes on the menu. Probably better all round for the environment.. . and good use of the social distancing regulations without being too restrictive.

Eat out to help out, thought mother and I would try out The Beach Pub, as we are regular diners out and enjoy trying different places. Nice venue & decor also clean, staff friendly. Food nice and ok price. Was very surprised to be served food in a takeaway box with wooden knife and fork, wooden cutlery not the easiest to use, when eating steak! Steak was advertised with roasted vegetables but I would have described it as stir fry, bean stouts, snap peas, cherry toms, lettuce, and other saladery bits. Server did no up selling, so we were unaware potato/chips were extra and thus lacking. A little disappointed, would happily return for a lunchtime bite but an not evening meal.
