Most amazing Caffè in town in my experience . You couldn't get better location in a town to meet up with a friends or family. Breakfast, lunch , afternoon tea . Its always fresh made. Amazing friendly stuff make you feel as you visiting your best friends home . We are living in a finny time st the moment , but Caffè have a take away food. Its plenty of benches around by the canal . I think its a perfect spot to stop for a chat or to have a little break while you are walking by the Chesterfield canal .. My absolutely favourite here- coffee, bagels with smoke salmon and scones .!!!

‘Good for Retford’ - I wish it was better. From the original just down the road 10 or so years ago time and size haven’t helped this cafe/bistro/restaurant. Staff were fantastically friendly but the generic coffee and cook from frozen food was disappointing.
Lovely surroundings, good variety of freshly baked scones. Would have given 5 stars, but unfortunately the waiter preferred chatting to other customers for a while rather than take our order. Eventually a lovely waitress appeared and we then got our order taken.
Great little meeting.place. Food is excellent. Definitely worth popping in.
Had a lovely lunch, the quiche was to die for. Made with high quality ingredients, mature cheddar, fresh cream etc. Taste explosion. Salad, jacket potato, coleslaw, everything was delicious, even the bread. Service was excellent, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
