We had a delivered meal. It was proper pub food - well packaged and piping hot when delivered. Great!

Wow, I never knew this little gem existed - many years ago I had visited and it was closed, so naturally thought it was gone for good like so many other, however it is very much open. Only popped in for a beer and it was excellently kept. Tidy and cosy, will be going back for food as soon as possible.
You have to hand it to The Bay Tree they're trying really hard in an awful situation. On our first visit in a wee while the welcome was warm, the food excellent and the service very good. If there was one improvement to make I'd suggest banning all mobile phones - or at least asking people to put them on silent - because the table next to us had theirs going BING, BING, BING every 30 seconds , which was just a tad annoying when you're trying to have a quiet conversation.
Wow what an amazing place, we stopped at this lovely little pub on our way through Castle Cary . Lovely friendly staff, great atmosphere with the locals and the food was fantastic. Definitely will return can highly recommend !!!!
