We had dinner there last night. My husband's steak was the best he has ever eaten; likewise my pasta dish. All the ingredients were cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and efficient. The Bay Horse is a lovely characterful old inn, with tankards, old photographs and agricultural artefacts as well as settles and an open fire. All of this creates a great atmosphere. The Porter is to be recommended. Burythorpe is fortunate in having such a fine pub.

What a lovely quirky traditional pub, very friendly staff, cant wait to book a meal, the menu looked lovely.
Good choice of great beers, lovely food in a pub from yesteryear. Plenty of outside seating. The best thing, however, was the welcome and the service. We shall definitely return on our next break on the area. Amazing!
