Lovely local with a good choice of real ales and ciders. Interior is full of character and historic memories. The hostess was very friendly and followed all covid-19 regulations properly. She even ordered a local taxi to get us to our caravan park.

Always a good welcome. Usually a great choice of beer. A few steps from the end of Berwick's Old Bridge. Talk a walk across & reward yourself with a pint.
Cosy real ale bar with rotating choice of ales..a mixture of local & from further afield. Friendly staff & great observance of Covid restrictions. Tiny but quirky outdoor smoking area.
Great characterful bar with 5 hand pumps for beer and 7 larger and cider taps. Lots of old signs and nick-nacks add interest. Enjoyed but moved on quickly due to a very noisy mixed table of 8 who needed a volume control.
