Very good food from the carvery with huge portion sizes. Due to restrictions the carvery is ordered using a form and then plates brought to table. The ordering process was fine but not one of the plates of our table of five had exactly what was ordered on the form. The food we did have was great even if the service felt a little bit chaotic. I would still go back in the future. Beer from their brewery was very good too, we did want to buy a keg but couldn't find a way to do so.

Very nice place and the food was very very good. However it was a little lacking in the amount of food I would of liked. Which is why this isn't my five star rating. I would defiantly go back but i would get a starter also. A live band was great entertainment and the beer us brewed on site and was great value at around 3.15 a pint.

Our first visit to The Barn on recommendation from a friend. Friendly staff although very busy service was ok Food selection a bit limited but was excellent. Good range of cask beer. Will go again if only for the churros dessert. Follow up visit today (21/10) and everything above still applies, one slight criticism however is that when leaving it was dark and there appears to be only one outside light which is on a timer. This is not very helpful when you are trying to get a disabled passenger out of a wheelchair into the car. More car park lighting please.

A very welcoming place to visit for a drink with a good selection of beers, some of which were brewed in the on site brewery. The staff were friendly, helpful and there was a good menu. The food, both starters and main courses were well presented and very tasty. I had the Home made fish cake for the main and it was an excellent choice and would highly recommend it. We will be returning next week.

The kitchen is making good food on time but front of house is a shambles. We booked a table and when we arrived we were told to help ourselves to menus and pick any table we liked. To socially distance we went upstairs, only to be told ten minutes later by another lady that upstairs was closed (no signs though). She told us to order at the bar, which we did, but then she greeted and seated new arrivals at their tables and took both drinks and food orders at the tables. She didn't come back to us for dessert order so again we were left to order at the bar. There was a weird vibe throughout. Clearly many of the people there are friends or family of the owners and the conversations sometimes were across the entire barn. No conversation from the lady who served us throughout, who I suspect is the owner. In fact her not saying much at all to us but being chatty with her friends made us feel a little uncomfortable. Wouldn't go again, which is a shame because the food was good.
