Fabulous nut, apricot and root vegetable bake. Really tasty, served with a good salad. I'm glad I requested no chips as they would have been far too much. As a vegetarian it was so good to see an option that wasn't a vegetable curry or burger. And very tasty too. Thank you Barley Mow, I'd like the recipe!

The Barley Mow is a fantastic pub. The food is great - fresh and home made - and they regularly offer special nights (most recently pie & mash Tuesday and Mediterranean Fridays!) to keep things fresh and interesting. The staff are lovely and always accommodating. Between lockdowns, they adhered to the rules better than any other pub/restaurant I visited. Can't wait for them to reopen!
We had 'Super Saturday', this was the Sunday after ending lockdown! We arrived (not booked) to friendly staff who were welcoming and courteous. Service was excellent, price's very reasonable (large sauvignon and a pint a Peroni for around 11ish). We had a table in the garden which was lovely....... All in all a nice experience and really recommended.
Had a lovely evening at the Barley Mow. The owner is very friendly and helpful with excellent service. Felt very safe. The food was delicious and very good portions. Amazing chips!
