we love this place. We take the baby for a drive to get him to sleep and park the car outside the pub/restaurant for a pint. Beer is always good, fast service, and the place is always busy with diners. Judging by the look and smell of the food I would say it is well worth a try.

Nice meal out for me & my family, food as nicely presented and was tasty too. For me the deserts were nice but over priced for what was available, \the barge\ has a nice feel about the place & the staff are friendly & helpful. Will visit again
Absolutely top notch food, very nicely kept real ales, huge outdoor dining area, all set amongst exceptionally beautiful surroundings. We'd actually forgotten that it was an Eat Out to Help Out day, but they were very good with making sure the discount was applied without any prodding or fuss and we had a wonderful time. Will definitely make sure we come again to enjoy this wonderful establishment over the course of the different seasons.
Busy little pub when we visited. Sadly under staffed so quite a wait for drinks but eventually served with a smile. Can’t comment on the food as we did not eat at the time but others seemed to be enjoying it. Nice place to just sit outside and relax and enjoy the view and the fresh air on a good day. Children on the small pier enjoying catching small crabs with bait varying from bacon to spam!
