Felt sick just after eating onion bhajii like bullets, and weird tasting biryani and veg curry sauce... I had a disturbed, bloated uncomfortable night. My niece was 'up early' paying a 'visit' and has done a number of times too since. The biryani rice was really oily/greasy and so was my peshawari Naan. Never again... My nieces Malai Chicken... The sauce was 'dayglow' with colourings

Last time I was in Easingwold I did not go to the Banyan tree due to some poor reviews. That was a mistake. The food was amazing. The Service better than any Indian Takeaway that I have been to in quite a while. The free Naan bread was an unexpected treat. Well done Banyan tree.
Been going for years, never been disappointed. Consistently good, and definitely not worth the one stars dragging this score down
Worse Indian meal we’ve ever had. It went in the bin. It was watery onion and tomatoes mainly water the chicken tasted odd. There were no spices. Compared to the last meal we had from there which was outstanding, we were very disappointed I think the need to look at the consistency of their food and sack the chef/cook who worked tonight If they can’t cook a decent curry the what can be said
