We went early to make sure we got a table as there is no booking system. Service was really good, efficient, helpful and polite. Menu has lots of choice and if what you want is decent pub grub well-cooked, good portions and tasty then this is the place. Covid restrictions were also well adhered to.

We called in for a couple of cold ones and ended up staying for about 4hrs Really nice old pub with good range of draft beer & lager but as soon as I smaw hand pulled Hobgoblin that was it ...it was pulled well which makes it a pleasure to drink We only left as we had booked dinner elsewhere or we would have eaten here as the portions were a great size and I only saw empty plates going back. Bar Staff were spot on and prices decent so no hesitation in recommending The Bank
Best meal I have had in a long time, it was PERFECT, presentation & taste, very friendly staff too.
We ended up eating in this pub both nights that we stayed in Keswick. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service was unbelievably quick. It’s true that they weren’t enforcing track and trace, as they just had forms on the bar to complete if you chose to. However, the tables were suitably spaced and they seemed to have a very good cleaning routine. I had a roast beef dinner on the first evening and Hunter’s chicken on the second. Both meals were absolutely delicious and I would be happy to recommend this pub to anyone. They have a large selection of specials in addition to the main menu and the portion sizes are generous.
Top pub in central Keswick. Really good food, booking probably a good idea for this. Really good portions, perfect after a long day on the hills. Friendly staff and quite up to scratch with covid measures if you are worried about that. Defo worth a visit if you are in town.
