Made my first visit here recently for a weekend brunch, having passed by a couple of times. I'd recommend booking ahead, especially at the moment as tables are time limited. The welcome and service were both warm and friendly, with just the right level of attention. The menu looked tempting, and I have to say the eggs royale was absolutely spot on. Excellent doorstep chunk of granary bread, and obviously fresh eggs. Washed down with a decent coffee too. Highly recommended.

This was the best cream I’ve ever had! Large, fresh and fluffy fruit (or plain) scones with generous amounts of cream and jam. The tuna toastie was also delicious!
Absolutely delicious food and friendly service. All social distancing has been adhered to and the staff are wonderful. We love the Bakehouse for breakfast, afternoon treats and dinner! We're so lucky to have such and great cafe/restaurant in town. For anyone visiting the area too - it's a must!
Had breakfast here midway through long journey to Cornwall. Breakfast was fantastic. Good choice and perfectly cooked. Service was quick and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend booking ahead. Excellent Covid measures in place.
The perfect spot for lunch on the way back from Cornwall to London. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time!
