A very interesting establishment especially for someone from the big smoke like myself. What a great intimate village pub with great decor and very friendly staff I only wish we could have stayed longer but it’s well worth a visit

Fantastic micro pub and Bottle shop with awesome weekly selection of local real ales and ciders, plus a wide selection of other hard to find drinks from uk and Europe. Great staff as always very warmly welcoming. You will keep returning.
Well organised and safety a priority at this difficult time. Friendly welcome and competent service.
Marvellous selection of well kept ales. Great atmosphere. Quirky layout with the bar upstairs which adds to the charm. Buzzing atmosphere. We sat in the downstairs snug next to the fire which was lovely.
Great friendly micro pub in the heart of Long Buckby. 4 local ales are served in top condition, normally 1 dark one. If none of these take your fancy then they also have a good range of ciders, gins, a low alcohol bottled beer from Adnams and soft drinks. The pub is split over 2 levels. It used to be an Indian restaurant and takeaway. Upstairs is the bar and a split drinking area. Downstairs there are a further 2 drinking areas, one with a TV for important sporting events. Dogs are welcome except in left hand area upstairs. Water and gravy bones are provided. Customers are allowed to take in and eat takeaways in the pub, but downstairs only so that the smell of food doesn't spoilt it for the serious drinkers and your hosts! In my opinion the best pub in Long Buckby for range and quality of ales, which are currently 3.50 a pint, which is what I would expect in a true micro pub. Some of the original micro pub rules set by Martyn Hillier of the Butchers Arms, Herne, Kent, the first micro pub, are broken here, but if the Customers are happy who cares!
