While waiting in New Cavendish St. for another shop to open, I decided to kill some time by popping into The Back Shop. Sitting at a desk all day long for most of my working career, I certainly have had some back pain from time to time, and thought I might have a browse to see what products they offered. I was quickly greeted by Shanice, an incredibly helpful and knowledgeable young lady who expertly answered all my questions about a chair I had my eye on. I quickly settled on the amazingly comfortable HAG Caplisco Puls, although I had my concerns that as a high-lift chair, it might not be low enough for my desk at work. Sure enough, the next day, the chair proved too low to comfortably fit my legs under the desk at work. A quick email to Shanice had the problem sorted. They would send me out a shorter version of the gas lift, with a loan of a special tool to replace it, and would arrange for collection of both parts once I'd done that. Overall excellent customer service which is hard to fault, and a great selection of products with knowledgeable staff.
