If your a plane geek or have children needing entertainment this is the place... if your lucky you might see some military or blue light air traffic... great food and great place for a drink... certainly recommended

Fantastic pub/cafeteria/lunch meeting place which beautifully overlooks the ramp at Gloucester airport, making an excellent stop for breakfast / lunch and coffee for pilots, aviation professionals and enthusiasts alike. Coffee is awesome. Service and friendliness even higher.

The Aviator always provides great food and great service. My most recent service was no exception and they couldn't do enough for us. Were so accommodating when I needed to change the booking over the phone to. I love the location, but it's the people who make this place special.

Talk about put a pin in a map and come up trumps. Needed a mid way point to meet my sister and had (spookily) read an online article about the extraordinary location of this pub. The view was fabulous across the airfield. We were warmly welcomed and the food was great. Emily looked after us and was gorgeously friendly. The pub faces west and we were soaked in sun all afternoon. . . I imagine a fabulous sunset was coming. I am not local but having discovered this as a great midway point, I WILL be back. . . May even stay for sunset next time. Thank you X

Was very busy, only the board menu was available which meant a baguette or a roast. Lots of tables needed clearing, only one serving at the bar when 2 would have been able to safely. Food was of good quality but not very hot. I came here last Saturday when food was served much hottet
