What can u say.... UNBELIEVABLE service and food. Going in with this Covid going around they were more than compliant. With a group of 9 we struggled with somewhere to eat especially with the eat out scheme in its last week. The staff put us all together as we were part of the bubble and literally felt as we always came here. Staff were above the service I would expect and went above and beyond expectation. The food.. Well.... different story.... I lie! WOW. SERIOUSLY WOW. That was the best bolagnaise sauce I have ever had. The best roast turkey ever. Stick with the children's menu if you not hungry and that's enough to fill 2 hungry people! There was meat hidden under the peas carrots roast potatoes, I swear even under the plate! This place was so good we went twice in our 5 day stay. Hats off to you all. Well done. All 9 of us left with a belly so full we couldn't eat a donut after!

Food was incredible! A speciality in pub food just done to a very very good quality! The place could of done with a update with furniture and lighting to look more inviting. However the staff work SO hard I had to tip! The service was delightful even with a full restaurant! Very pleased! We would return 100% if we lived close!
Had a lovely few days here.would certainly go back again. Lovely helpful staff and friendly. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. Only down side was hubby and I were up on top floor and don't have a lift. We are not young ones lol. Thanks for lovely stay. Anita and Gareth Griffiths.
Excellent. A massive pleasant difference from the normal. Warm and friendly and nice to see the no face mask challenge in place. Kids roast was plenty. Looks a little dark from the outside but please, walk through the doors and see for yourselves. Family of 6 shared plates and no issues.
Although very busy they fitted us in after arriving with no prior booking. Staff were very acommodating attentive and efficient. Menu was good with quite a few home made dishes, arrived promptly was hot and well presented. Both meals were really enjoyed and as a bonus the wine list was adequate and reasonably priced. Well done to the staff and proprieters a really good meal experience.
