Awesome bar with awesome music too! Between Bear and Spidey (along with the teams they work with) you are well looked after! If you have any bone in your body that enjoys rock or metal then this is the bar for you!
This is an absolutely wonderful hard rock and metal bar, I've been coming here for just over 2 years but have started going more regularly recently and I can easily say that this is one of the best pubs I've spent time in.
Absolutely amazing venue, constantly putting on the most AMAZING gigs for people into alternative music be it indie, metal, alternative, punk, rock or whatever tickles your fancy. Bear (manager, promoter and life and soul of the venue) is always pouring his heart into making it a hub for amazing music, good times and great nights out. Go no further than anvil if you want to enjoy the best up and coming artists from all genres and an amazing night out. Couldn't fault this place at all.
