We love The Anvil; it has a very relaxed atmosphere where we enjoy a few drinks with friends. Tom, the landlord, always goes out of his way to make every visit great. During winter, the fire is always on which is lovely and comforting on a cold day. Would always highly recommend.

Lovely friendly local pub with great ales. Well worth a visit.
Reasonably busy but not overly so, plenty of social distancing so there's a comfortable atmosphere.
Great hospitality, great food and great beer, all that you want from a PH !
Top of my list of Shifnal pubs so far (day visitor). 5* for venue, comfort, service, choice and quality of ales, plus accommodation available. Have I missed anything?
