Love this pub! Small, classy, good dining area with top notch food, log fire with comfy sofas, usually three or four real ales on the go too.

I have to say this was one of the best lunches I have had in years. Buratta to start then Paella, both were exquisite. The Buratta was as good if not better than a certain cafe by the river not far away and the Paella was probably the best I have eaten. Well done chefs...I actually congratulated them through the window as I left.

Lovely staff. Lovely food. Probably the best t bone steak I have had in the UK. Reasonably priced. What else could you ask for. Will be going back for sure.
Wonderful, cozy space. Lively atmosphere. Good selection of beers. Great selection of wines. Not much of a cocktail place. I ordered a negroni. Weakly poured and low volume. (I have to stop ordering cocktails at pubs.) Food was very good. Fried whitebait was my favorite bar food. Wish the staff were a little friendlier and more fun. Ahh well.
