Loved this local English pub! Great atmosphere and prices. We went on a Sunday and had the Sunday roast which was very good with a huge portion! Atmosphere was buzzing with locals and others.. great vibe! Dog friendly too!
A charming little country pub near the river with a beautiful garden and aviary
Came in for dinner off a canal boat. Real home cooked liver and bacon, really tender and tasty. friendly staff and amusing perfect new Zealand landlady. Beer well kept and the right temperature. Good covid measures with regular table sanitizing. If we lived here this would be our regular local.
Pleasant staff, good food. Sat in sheltered and heated area outside. Good location for circular walk around the reservoir.
