My first visit to the Angel today . Wow the food service was fantastic . I had cream garlic mush which was a meal in its self. Then homemade pie pleanty of meat and gravy and home made chips . 10/10 thank you great evening
Another great Sunday lunch. I much prefer the weekday menu with a good choice. On Sunday it's stripped back to a few Sunday lunch favourites. Great starters and desserts can be relied on. Service is fast and friendly beers and wines are decent and change regularly. Just coming to the end of the beer garden season, but there's a good seating area which catches the sun.
Just had take away haddock and chips, food ready right on time, excellent service and the food was delicious. Thank you to all the team, loved it x
There were sensible precautions in place. The quality of the food was 10/10. Staff were very good and explained everything clearly. We will definitely visit once a month.
