A very beautiful venue for relaxing over a drink, having a wonderful meal and dancing the night away to the sound of live music, and in the summer The Angel helps organize a wonderful music festival just a short walk from this wonderful Inn.
Fairly typical pub mains but more adventurous starters and desserts on the specials menu. Well cooked, very hot and good quality. You're unlikely to leave hungry! Service was friendly and welcoming, prices were sensible. All covid restrictions are being adhered to. Good pub well worth a visit.
Great food especially enjoyed the Roast Duck. The ribs are great if you are hungry as you get a huge portion. Really cosy place with a real fire and lovely and clean throughout including the bathroom!
On holiday in the area, found this pub clad we did the food was excellent and the service was excellent friendly staff will return again in the future.
