Lovely historic inn, lots of character, welcoming staff and a great pint. Look forward to returning and would defo recommend popping in if you are in the area.

Great pub, full of history. Took a few of my American friends there and they lived it. The girl behind the bar was exceptionally friendly.
Proper old boozer which I really like, open fire, loud and atmospheric. I wouldn't take everyone here as it doesnt feel like a family put but if you want to go with your mates for a few bevvies it's a winner.
Quiet place don't order whiskey BM 16 quid for 2doubles
Visit here a few times a year, the atmosphere is good, the drinks are reasonably priced and the staff are always good fun!
