Outstanding wholegrain sourdough, Waitrose eat your heart out. And the croissants and brioche buns are as good as (dare I say better than) in France. Worth driving to Wales for! If only I could mail order... Might need to relocate :)

Possibly the best loaf of bread I have ever tasted and I have tasted a lot of bread. Fresh ground coffee and cakes available along with many other artisan breads. An incredible find.

Just bought a slice of fabulous apple cake and shared it over a cup of earl grey tea sat in the car at Usk Castle. This being a Wednesday the Abergavenny Castle was closed as was the museum and market. However this makes the visit to Abergavenny worthwhile. This apple cake is delicious.
Wonderful bakery, epic sourdough. Very pleasant staff. The sandwiches are easily as good as Valvona Crolla. When I'm next in Wales I'll try the cakes.
