Great choice of Gluten Free options all the way from starters to deserts. They also offer gluten free beer if that's your thing. Food is always prompt, hot and delicious. I am yet to have a bad experience here. The open wood fire only adds to the homely feel. Slight more expensive than a usual pub but the great food, the great atmosphere and the kind staff. I've no reason to complain. This location should definitely be on your list. They also take corona virus seriously and have a lot of measures in place.

Very disappointed in our last visit. I know everywhere is struggling but we booked a table in the marquee. 6 people. We were told to order on the app. The first drinks and starters came out for 4 of us. 2 had to wait for starters. Then the waiter dropped a glass of malbec over 2 people. Totally ruining my friends light grey woolen coat not to mention her partners jeans getting soaked and his face and jacket completely covered in red wine. It even managed to cover one of their starters. The starter was replaced but my friend had to re order and was expected to pay for a replacement! Mains came for 4 of the 6 of us. When we went in to find out where our mains were, the staff found the ordered and shouted at the chef telling him he'd forgotten an order. By the time our meal came everyone else on our table had finished their meal. My overall view of the angel and harp is hit and miss. Sometimes it's great. The staff are friendly but other time the service is shocking! It's a shame as its local to us and we would use it more if they were consistently good. Never seems to be enough staff or maybe the training is just not that great?? Such a shame Laura is lovely and a great waitress
I proposed to my wife at the Angel and Harp nearly 3 years ago and we went back there to celebrate our 1st anniversary. The atmosphere was beautiful and buzzing full of happy people enjoying themselves. The staff worked hard and were ever so friendly and the food was served quickly and was delicious. A fabulous place to eat drink and socialise.
Good food. Just a shame we were outside but that's covids fault not the pub. Outside heater's made sure we were warm enough. Wolf certainly eat here again.
