The anchovy platter was amazing. Everything we ordered wltasted delicious. Multiple layers of flavors in each dish. Good selection of wine.

I didn't think I liked anchovies until Stuart served them to us at State Bird a few years ago. This place is a temple to seafood and a great addition to their restaurant portfolio. The oysters, anchovies, and clams were all excellent. I can't wait to try the entire menu.

Delightful little seafood place. Small plates (tapas style), excellent service, but a price that reflects its quality. A selection of raw and cooked oysters from the NW coast. When ordering the Duck schnitzel with mushrooms or the Clams and Chorizo, ask for additional bread because that sauce is amazing. The cucumber salad was also a treat. The shaved green salad was a little disappointing, only because it was overshadowed by the other dishes. The anchovies on toast were also delicious, but with only two small slices, 4 of us made short work of them. Dessert stand out for me was an apple arlette, a delicate pastry sandwich with apples and a coconut cream on the side. When placing an online reservation, pay special attention to seating preferences should you wish to eat outside. Seating is reservation only with limited seating, I heard several patrons expecting to eat outside, to discover that they had made a reservation for indoor seating.

Delicious, flavorful, elegant. Never had a better prepared crab, what a luxury to have it all prepped.

Dishes were beautiful and tasted fresh. Service was attentive but not intrusive.

Really amazing- the Boquerones and the Devil Eggs were our favorite but everything was amazing. Definitely will be back- indoor band outdoor seating available.

All dishes are shared and are more lime appetizers rather than meals. Pretty pricey for what you get. Service was good

Absolutely wonderful dinner at the Anchovy Bar. Everything we had was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the wine perfect too. We were lucky enough to try the San Francisco anchovy project anchovies before they go out of season (apparently happening soon, unbelievably good). We also had the anchovy mixed bar for 2 (incredible), baked oysters, green goddess dip salad (very remininsant of progresses dipping lettuce salad) smoked halibut and broccoli, and the anchovy (filetti di alici) deviled egg which was unreal, a favorite. Don’t skip desert, the caramalizes arlettas are phenomenal - they’re super sweet crunchy flaky cookies with lemon curd inside. Seating wise it’s pretty small, only a couple tables inside due to covid restrictions but felt super safe, and a few tables outside. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!
