Wow, a proper olde English village pub. Quaint, with lovely staff who are on the ball. Beer and wines were superb. Thankfully, not a \foody\ establishment, just a PROPER pub.

Traditional pub, which is rare these days. Beer selection a bit reduced at the moment due to COVID but usually a good variety of 4 real ales. Basic food, good toasties.

Lovely pub, small but not crowded. Authentic but not grubby. Local but welcoming. Ale is kept excellently, I didn't eat but food looked very good

The Anchor is a superb pub. Ideally if you are a little older! Landlords Paul and Debbie very hospitable. No loud music no 1 arm bandit machines. Good selection of beers, well kept. A pub like they used to be!
