Visited The Anchor 01.11.20 for Sunday lunch. I am extremely fussy about having a Sunday Roast out but on the recommendation of the table near to us (social distancing in place) I decided to order. What an absolutely delicious dinner it was. Was well cooked and great portion size. Will definitely be returning to this lovely place .

Really friendly staff. Very pleasant and helpful. Food fabulous [the Christmas menu]. Got a little loud when the place filled up, however that's to be expected with a full restaurant at Christmas. Would definately return.
Food was acceptable, a lot off, made mistakes with meal order so one in the group had to wait and finish after the rest Cheese and biscuits came out with bread instead of biscuits as thay had run out of them. Prices are at the higher end of the price bracket for pub grub. Probably would not use again unfortunately as nothing outstanding
wonderful superb service food great a really enjoyable afternoon don't know the waitress,s name long dark hair but she was fantastic a girl not to let go xxx
Great to see this pub open again had a great steak sandwich with a nice cold beer
