Incredible food! We went a couple months ago and was blown away. We had the lunch menu and the food was reasonably priced and amazing! If you haven't been you won't be disappointed! Very friendly staff too.

Absolutely incredible, the team have put The Anchor on the map and it’s well deserved! Food is fantastic and the overall experience is always so welcoming. The atmosphere is always warm and comfortable, I cannot recommend these guys enough!
Absolutely fantastic food. Of particular note was the sticky toffee pudding/date and muscavdo pudding. We had a range of dishes from pigs cheeks, to sardines, and cauliflower cheese and the food could not be faulted. If there was anything that could be improved upon it was the cocktails which were a tad on the watery side but otherwise a really fine evening that I will be looking forward to doing again in the future. Thank you!
Thursday night we had a very good meal, 3 courses and a few drinks. Steak, Burgers and Pork were all delicious.
Love this place, grew up in Burwell and seen it change over the years. I've been here twice since its been with the new owners and the food is delicious and felt i could trust the chef with my dietary requirements which he adapted with no problem
