A real pub!! Cosy and old skool. Massive garden with loads of events every day. Friendly atmosphere. Delicious home cooked food. Fantastic for the summer. Lovely by the fire on a winter's night.

Lovely pub, wide range of beers on tap from local ales to more mainstream lagers. Top notch COVID-19 protocols in place with enforced one way system around the pub. Do a good steak and ale pie!

What isn't there to love about this pub, the owners and staff are all happy smiley people and are most welcoming. The garden is large and well kept with an outdoor stage. The live music is always top quality and there's always something going on, quizzes open mic nights etc. Good mix of local characters of all ages, always a cheerful atmosphere. Lastly the food and drink is spot on and reasonably priced. Great place to be at.

We liked it Came in for our anniversary meal I had the ham and my wife had the torpedo prawns both of which were very good The pub has a one way system in and out then the staff bring your meals out to you Only downside, if you're in the garden when it's sunny it's brilliant but literally as soon as the sun sets bugs and flies come out in force and they are not easily scared off Bring something to cover your drinks and if you don't dawdle while eating they won't bother you Not the pubs fault but something to be aware of
