Nice coffee. But the service was really rude and ruined my morning. I was barked out of my table. I bought a flat white and sat next to the outdoors heater while waiting for my group of 4 other friends to arrive. I was on the phone with one friend telling them where the cafe was, when the waiter started yelling at me that as I bought a take away cup of coffee, that I wasn't allowed to sit and had to leave. He asked me if I had other friends joining, and I said there were 4 others, and my friend who was on the phone with me had arrived right at this time. He saw her and said that I still had to leave! I was fuming at this stage. He was very loud and made me embarrassed in front of other customers. My friend who was on the phone with me right until that point heard the whole conversation. Anyway, my friend sensed what was happening and saved the day by saying to me let's go look around the market to make me better. As I left with my friend, I saw that the group replaced by a group of 3 guests, who all bought take away coffees! Our group of 5 would have ordered a coffee each and some food there.... but we ended up going to another place 2 doors down. Will not be coming back again.

My friend and I had an alfresco dinner over a good long catchup. The Agile Rabbit were properly prepared for social distancing with codes on the table to order food and drinks and the tables were suitably separated. The staff were attentive and very friendly and they all were masked which made us very comfortable. Agile Rabbit is literally opposite Herne Hill train station along a short parade of shops. The area has a lovely village feeling to it. Th food didnt take too long to arrive. I order their white truffle burger with french fries and a cocoa cola and my friend had a lasagne with Italian lemonade. My truffle burger was posh with a lovely cut of continental cheese. The beef pattie was juicy and cooked well with the truffle oil carefully balanced. The French fries were surprisingly crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, considering they were skinny french fries (my connoisseur chips/foodie friend would have approved). My friend really enjoyed he lasagnesaying it was well cooked and the portion was just right for her. This is the first time I've been to the Agile Rabbit and it probably won't be the last. Highly recommended!
Definitely a place worth stopping by, the food is good and well prepared, the costs are reasonable and it is regularly neat in here. 5 stars.
Service was very very friendly but there were some serious problems. We were a table of 3. We were served 2 drinks. When we asked about the third the waiter suggested we'd only ordered 2 and I had to show him our app order to confirm. Then we were only served 2 pizzas. A third came out without cheese. The waitress said we had requested it with no cheese. Again I checked the app order confirmation. We hadn't (I'm not sure it was even possible to do so on the app). We waited perhaps an hour for the correct pizza which never cane. The waitresses were v apologetic and friendly but they didn't seem to know what had happened to the pizza or when it would arrive. Eventually they brought another cheese free pizza and said that was all they could get out of the kitchen. They were clearly very angry with the chef who wasn't communicating with them properly. We were refunded the pizza and given a free beer and muffins which was kind. But all in all it was an uncomfortable evening and we probably won't go back.
Great Pizzas and fun Atmosphere... Will definitely come back for Brunch
