The fish and chips were excellent as always, I have my fish cooked with no batter, as batter gives me heartburn. This also has the benefit of being freshly fried, admitted, I have to wait, but that is no hardship. I like the boxed small cod special, as I always eat it in the car. I will continue to go as long as possible, as it is my favourite place.

Quick service, well packed, good quality and good value on meal deals. They also accept telephone orders to cut down on waiting time.
I entered the Admiral 2 wearing a face mask and was immediately greeted by a young female with a lovely smile who took my order. The chips were freshly cooked also the pie looked appetising. The salt and pepper were within the protective screen for access to staff only to avoid cross contamination. I paid by contact less card and once in the car the meal proved to be as tasty as it looked. All in all a pleasant experience and to be recommended.
