Real country pub. Food and service seems to have improved greatly. We had a fantastic Sunday roast at the weekend after a long walk round Abinger and Friday Street. Pub is well spaced out with attentive table service. Roast dinner was very tasty and plenty of it, just what we needed. Good wine that doesn’t break the bank.

We had a wonderful Saturday afternoon at the Abinger Hatch in early December. All covid compliant but still felt welcoming and relaxing. Staff were friendly and attentive but didn’t rush us at all, we loved sitting by the fire for a long lunch. Food was great- highly recommend both the pie of the day and the fisherman’s pie- ultimate comfort food after a local winter walk. Lots of beers on tap and a great selection of gins. What more do you need! Can’t wait to return hopefully soon.

Great country pub and a lovely place to stop off after a six mile walk! We booked Sunday lunch here and it was absolutely delicious! We had the garlic pizette to share to start which was lovely and then we all had a different roast. Gravy and Yorkshire’s were amazing! All washed down with a lovely bottle of Malbec it was a perfect Sunday afternoon. Service was efficient and they welcomed feedback which was good. We will be back in the next few weeks that’s for sure!

Lovely find. Left the Wotton Hotel to find a decent pub for dinner and we weren't disappointed. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Well kept ale and some tasty pies and stews. Would like to return for lunch one day

Good quality food at present moment they are not serving indoors, due to the pandemic. Good place to stop when you come for a drink or food. When visiting the national trust park in Dorking at Friday street.
